Brothers in Beards is a Boston-based video production company with a knack for good stories and a willingness to go where they take us. We work across New England, the Midwest, the Carolinas, and pretty much anywhere there’s a story worth telling.
We work as your creative partners to find fresh ways to reach your audience. Nimble and curious by nature, we’re with you from the first conversation to the final cut, whether we’re filming around the corner or taking the show on the road. Bring us the challenge. We’ll bring the cameras, the ideas, and, yes, the beards!
(No beards required to rock with us!)

I attended Northeastern University for undergraduate studying Media Communications with a masters degree in Digital Media following. During my graduate years I was working as a part time plumber and just couldn't take the "shit" anymore. One day at work I bumped into Yuri teaching local teens photography. We shared many of the same sentiments on storytelling, visuals, life, and of course beards, and hence began the bromance that has grown into Brothers in Beards production company.
What's in a beard? Time, dedication, & commitment all values here at Brothers In Beards we apply to every project. Though I'm sure some will say there's lint, rice remains, and the aroma of coconut oil. Oh well, Hakuna Matata.
Yuri V. - Director of Photography
What started out as a hobby to escape the monotonous nature of the grey cubicle, quickly blossomed into a camera love affair. Now, it wasn't as easy as it looked, turns out there's more to pressing the shutter button. Within weeks of leaving the insurance industry, I found myself driving cross country, and months later wandering in India. I was hooked, the camera was my companion for travel and a wonderful way to meet new people. Fast forward a few years, Chuck and I decided to start a boutique production company. Specializing in awesome short films and kick a$$ beards (Jojoba oil is key).
PS - People often ask me if my beard ever itches. It does not. Also, its easy to avoid a beard mess when eating, simply grasp and swoop it to the side and continue to twirl your pasta.
